Bergen County authorities are investigating a fire that ignited inside a business in Hackensack early Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the two-alarm fire erupted at 28 Kansas Street at approximately 2:45 a.m. sending firefighters to the scene after they received reports of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed massive fire venting from the front door and window of a commercial structure.
Fire officials activated a second alarm as firefighters worked to quickly knock down the heavy fire beginning to extend to neighboring structures.
No injures were reported and the fire was under control within an hour according to fire officials.
Mutual aid from Englewood, Teaneck and Ridgefield Park assisted at the scene.
