A three-alarm fire destroyed a Hillside home and killed two dogs Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials, firefighters on Nov. 20th at approximately 12 p.m. responded to Yale Avenue for a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire conditions and initiated an aggressive interior attack to extinguish the main body of fire and cut off the fire extending into the attic.
Unfortunately during a search of the home two dogs were found deceased.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported.
