A massive fire damaged at least three homes and injured at least one firefighter in Irvington this morning.
According to authorities, firefighters were called to a vacant home under construction on 14th Avenue and 20th Street at approximately 7:45 a.m. for a report of a fire.
The frigid temperatures and wind prevented firefighters from containing the fire which ultimately spread to two occupied homes.
Based on preliminary reports, the roof of one of the structures collapsed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There are no immediate reports of injured occupants but at least one firefighter is believed to have suffered minor injuries.
