All across the globe, there are thousands of people marching in retaliation against the current humanitarian crisis in Haiti, otherwise known as the "Relief for Haiti" or "Souf Pou Ayiti" movement.
Haiti's people suffer from various health issues, such as food insecurity, lack of water, lack of healthcare, shelter or houselessness, poverty and more.
Created by Bishop Gregory Toussaint in partnership with more than 450 pastors around the world, this movement aims to help alleviate Haiti from these burdens.
Right here in Newark, as well as in 58 countries and all other 49 states, people will be walking to make history and aid in this movement.
It will take place today, Sunday, July 9th, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will start at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, 149 Springfield Avenue and will end at 920 Broad Street.
