NJ Transit officials are investigating a deadly train strike that occurred in Bergen County Wednesday morning.
According to officials, it happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the Bergen County Line train 45, which departed Hoboken at 9:48 a.m. with a scheduled arrival at Suffern at 10:51 a.m.,
NJ Transit officials say the train struck and fatally injured an adult female pedestrian at the Harristown Road Crossing in Glen Rock.
There are no reported injuries to the 35 customers and crew onboard the train.
Bergen County Line rail service was temporarily suspended in both directions but is now operating in both directions with up to 45-minute delays, according to officials.
