Authorities in Hudson County announced that the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Shortly before 7 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department was notified of a home invasion at a private residence on McAdoo Avenue, Hudson County officials said.
According to Jersey City Police, responding officers located a female victim who reported an unknown male entered her residence through a window before physically and sexually assaulting her.
The female victim is being treated at a local hospital for multiple injuries and no arrests have been made at this time, Hudson County authorities stated.
Hudson County officials said that the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this matter.
