Police are investigating a fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike involving a tractor-trailer and a box truck that killed one person Monday morning.
According to authorities, police responded to the express lanes near milepost 119.5 in Teaneck around 6:45 a.m. for a report of a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a box truck.
Officials confirmed that one person was killed but did not release the identity of the person killed.
Police say all lanes were closed as officers worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
