The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting in Trenton early Friday morning that left one victim dead, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
According to Prosecutor Onofri, at approximately 12:53 a.m., on September 17, Trenton police were dispatched to a home on Race Street on a report of an unresponsive male.
Prosecutor Onofri said that responding officers located a 37-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds, identified as Jeff Charles of Trenton. He was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
