There is little official information available for reports of a shooting that left one person dead in Edgewater Park overnight.
Details are pending a police information request, but according to preliminary reports, reports of shots fired sent police to a home in the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue at around 1 a.m.
Police officers reportedly surrounded the house after they found one person struck by gunfire and believed that other victims and a suspect were inside reports said.
One person was pronounced dead as a result of the shooting.
