An Atlantic City man was shot and killed last night in Atlantic City, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
Atlantic City Police responded last night to the 900 block of Magellan Avenue for multiple 9-1-1 reports of gunfire at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found Nizine Williams, 20, of Atlantic City, the victim of a shooting.
Williams was transported by emergency medical responders to the AtlantiCare Medical Center—City Division, where he was later pronounced dead.
An autopsy performed today determined cause-of-death to be multiple gunshot wounds, and manner of death was ruled as a homicide.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department continue the investigation.
