The ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department are actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced.
Officials said at 4:04 a.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021, Atlantic City Police received a 911 call to respond to 28 S. Georgia Avenue.
When police arrived, a 35-year-old male was located and he had been fatally shot.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives from the ACPO Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene.
The cooperative investigation continues between ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department.
