Authorities are on the scene of a fatal crash in the westbound express lanes of Route 78 in Union Township, that has one person confirmed dead.
Police were called to the highway near mile marker 51.1 for a report of a two-car crash shortly before noon where the located one of the vehicles badly damaged with one injured occupant inside.
There were no immediate details available as to what may have cause the crash but State Police have confirmed that at least one person has died.
