Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, together with Chief Vincent Sabo of the New Brunswick Police Department, announced that they are currently investigating a deadly crash that occurred in New Brunswick Wednesday morning.
The incident took place at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Route 1 Northbound near the Goodkind Bridge.
According to officials, authorities were dispatched to the scene following reports of a collision.
Upon arrival, they discovered an Infiniti that had collided with a Ford Pickup Truck, resulting in the death of the Ford's driver.
The investigation into the cause of the crash and the sequence of events leading up to it is ongoing.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information related to the incident to come forward.
