Officials are reporting a violent crash occurred in Cherry Hill late Friday night, resulting in the death of one individual.
The incident took place around 11:05 p.m. in the westbound lanes of NJ-38.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of a crash involving injuries.
Upon arrival, police and firefighters discovered a person who had been ejected from their vehicle onto the roadway.
Tragically, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
In response to the accident, authorities closed all lanes of the highway to conduct a thorough investigation.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office has been notified, and the cause of the collision is currently under active investigation as officials work to determine the circumstances that led to this fatal event.
