Police are looking for the suspect who pointed a weapon at a resident in Fanwood late last night.
According to police, at approximately 10:20 P.M., a resident in the 20 block of Paterson Road observed the interior light of his vehicle on and the door open.
When he checked the vehicle he was confronted by a male who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money. No money was given and the actor fled on scene.
Fanwood Police Detectives processed the scene and recovered physical evidence.
Union County Sheriff K-9 tracked the subject to the 300 block of Terrill Road and then lost the scent.
The suspet is described as a possible Hispanic male wearing a light gray hoodie, dark pants, black gloves, and a black mask police said.
He is described as having a thin build and a Hispanic accent.
