Authorities in Cumberland County and the NJ State Police said two individuals were killed and twelve others suffered various injuries in a mass shooting during a house party near Fairfield Township.
Officials would only say the two fatally injured victims were a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, state police said.
State Police officials said more than 100 people packed a large house on E. Commerce Street in Fairfield Township around 11:50 p.m. Saturday when gunfire rang out.
Police say the organizers threw the party, but it's unclear for what purpose or if the organizers owned the house.
The incident is in its early stages of the investigation.
