A Fairfield man was arrested Monday morning after a dancer from a Vineland gentlemen’s club accused him of stalking.
Michael Marlette, 53, of Fairfield, who has the triangular state police emblem tattooed on his right shoulder, allegedly pulled the woman's over and ordered her to get out of the vehicle.
The driver instead took off and went to the South High Street station, where Marlette followed her to.
Marlette was charged with impersonating a public servant, stalking, unlawful possession of a weapon (flashlight), possession of a weapon (flashlight) for an unlawful purpose, and harassment.
Marlette is out on bail and was ordered to obtain a psychological evaluation.
