Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Michael Conception, 23, of Paterson, NJ on multiple charges of the Distribution and Possession Of Controlled Dangerous Substances.
According to police, during the month of August 2019, an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force revealed that Conception was distributing narcotics, namely Cocaine.
Police say on August 20, Conception was arrested in Fair Lawn and charged with one count of Distribution Of A Controlled Dangerous Substance, namely Cocaine, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5B(2), a 2nd degree crime; two counts of Distribution Of A Controlled Dangerous Substance, namely Cocaine, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5B(3), crimes of the 3rd degree; one count of Possession With Intent To Distribute A Controlled Dangerous Substance, namely Cocaine, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5B(3), a 3rd degree crime; and one count of Possession Of A Controlled Dangerous Substance, namely Marijuana, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10A(4), a disorderly persons offense.
Prosecutor Mark Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and would like to thank the Fair Lawn Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
