Search and rescue crews searched the Hudson River for someone who lept off a bridge in Fort Lee Sunday.
The early morning incident happened around 2:35 a.m. when police found a person out of the car and threatened to jump off the George Washington Bridge's eastbound upper level.
After a brief negotiation, police say the person decided to jump and landed in the Hudson River.
NYPD aviation and harbor units were called to assist in the search, which was ultimately called off around 3:50 a.m.
The victim was not located during the one-hour search effort.
