EMS transported a conscious and alert male to the hospital after they found him suffering a stab wound at a location in Elizabeth this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 72 Chilton Street to investigate reports of an injured person just before 1 p.m.
Units arriving at the scene found a male victim suffering an apparent stab injury at that location.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle according to reports.
There were no other injuries reported.
