Elizabeth police is investigating a stabbing report that left a 30-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening injury.
The victim told police he was in the area of 3rd and Court Streets last night, when three men surrounded him and started punching him.
After the attack, the victim went home and realized he had been stabbed in the chest, police said.
According to police, Overlook Medical Center in Union contacted them shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Police said, the victim was than transported to University Hospital in Newark with what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury.
Police are investigating incident.
