Retired Elizabeth Firefighter Mark Gray and Missionaries on a Mission continue late Elizabeth police detectives’ holiday bike giveaways.
Today, members of the Elizabeth Firefighters FMBA Local 9 delivered bicycles and helmets to the Sampson Center holiday bicycle giveaways.
Missionaries on a Mission hold this event every December in memory of the late Det. Eddie Gray, father of retired Firefighter Mark Gray, who gifted countless bicycles to children in the city during his years of service with EPD.
Late Det. Eddie Gray may no longer be here but his giving spirits continues to impact the community.
