Police in Newark arrested Yoghjari Sagastume, 36, of Belleville, Jeison Reyna, 24 and Ricky Reyna, 30, both of Elizabeth, for an incident of illegal dumping today.
According to police, at approximately 3:45 p.m., detectives assigned to the Illegal Dumping Task Force observed three male suspects tossing old household furniture onto a lot at 29 Grafton Avenue from a large box truck.
Police apprehended the suspects without incident then charged them with Illegal Dumping and Illegal Transport of Solid Waste.
The suspects’ vehicle will possibly be forfeited as a result of this violation.
The Illegal Dumping Task Force has made over 43 arrests thus far this year.
These charges are merely accusations.
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
