The Warren County Prosecutor's office conducted a homicide investigation in the circumstances behind the death of an elderly couple inside a house in Washington Township.
According to police, at around 5:40 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the single-digit block of Peregrine Drive for a report of an unconscious person.
Police arrived at the scene found a man and woman inside a house at that location.
Authorities identified the couple as Ms. Joyanne Warner and Mr. Frank Warner, both 73-years-old and owners of the home they were found inside according to published reports on 69 News.
Washington Township Police released this statement on their Facebook Page: "We are currently at the first block of peregrine Drive in Washington Township conducting a criminal investigation. It appears to be an isolated incident, as more information becomes available we will update you".
The medical examiner's office is in the process of determining the cause of the couple's deaths.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
