Mayor Sam Joshi wants to ensure your children are in great hands when left with a babysitter.
That’s why he’s pleased to announce that the Edison Recreation Department will be holding “Adventures in Babysitting” classes for Edison teenagers who want to learn the fundamentals of babysitting.
“This is a great opportunity for the many responsible, talented Edison teenagers who want to help their neighbors, friends, and families by caring for their children…while also earning some pocket money,” Mayor Joshi said.
“By expanding their knowledge and diversifying their skills, they will be valuable resources for their local community.”
This is a two-day training course that will be held on March 8th and 9th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Avenue.
To participate in this class, attendees must be in grades 6 through 9 and have a valid Edison Township Teen Center Membership, which costs $10.00 and is valid from January 1 to December 31.
To register, go to register.capturepoint.com/Edison or access Community Pass via the township website under Recreation.
