A serious vehicle crash on Route 280 resulted in injuries and caused traffic delays early Sunday morning.
State Police are investigating the incident in the eastbound lanes near Clifton Avenue around 4:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, State Troopers found a severely damaged vehicle near the ramp, with one individual suffering serious injuries.
The injured person was promptly transported to University Hospital for treatment, although the specifics of their condition have not yet been disclosed.
The crash closed the right lane as investigators and cleanup crews worked at the scene.
Although the collision caused some delays, the early morning timing and typically low Sunday traffic helped prevent more significant road conditions.
