An early morning armed robbery reported at the Rite Aid in Rutherford is under investigation.
Police responded to 208 Park Avenue before 4:00 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Upon officers arrival, they were told that a dark complexion Hispanic male entered the establishment and committed the armed robbery at gunpoint then ran from the scene.
It was not clear how much proceeds the suspect took from the establishment, but there were no physical injuries reported.
