Police in Linden are investigating a crash that caused injuries at a location in the city Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened at approximately 4:20 a.m. in the vicinity of West St. Georges and North Wood avenues where police arrived to find the motor vehicle collision with a car colliding with a utility pole.
The impact of the crash caused a portion of the pole to fall to the ground at that location.
Linden Police officials closed East St. Georges Avenue between Washington Avenue and Wheatsheaf Road for the investigation. Officials say the road will be closed for the next several hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
