The Paterson Police Department and Passaic County Prosecutor's Office are looking for suspects who gunned down three victims in Paterson Saturday morning.
Several police units responded to multiple rounds of gunfire that erupted in the vicinity of Madison and Essex streets shortly before 1:45 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found two victims suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
Officers continued to search the scene and found a third gunshot victim.
All of the injured were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment, and the extent of their injuries has not been confirmed.
The suspect fled the scene, and there are no reports of arrests.
