Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect responsible for a shooting that injured a man Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 5 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired near 345 Rosa Parks Boulevard.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his arm.
Police say he was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in stable condition and expected to recover.
Detectives canvassing the area found a crime scene with shell casings on the ground.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the shooting.
There were no other injuries reported.
