One person was transported to the hospital suffering gunshot wounds after a shooting in a neighborhood in New Brunswick Saturday morning.
In the shooting incident, police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Seaman and Remsen around 1:20 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim struck by bullets at that location.
Saturday morning's shooting marked the third victim shot in the city as the week closed. On Sunday, gunfire struck a male near the intersection of Alexander and Somerset street.
In the second shooting incident of the week, bullets struck a male in the 30's block of Paul Robeson Boulevard on Monday evening.
There were no fatal injuries immediately reported.
