Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a house in Orange on Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, fire broke out inside a two and a half story house located at 213 Duane Street at approximately 5:15 a.m.
Crews arrived at the scene observed thick smoke and fire pushing from the windows of the home, according to reports.
A search of the structure for trapped and injured occupants came back negative and firefighters were able to knock the fast-moving fire down in under an hour.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
