Two individuals suffered non-fatal injuries in a crash that occurred on an interstate in Essex County Thursday morning.
According to police, at approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to reports of a crash in the eastbound lanes of I-78 near exit 56.
Emergency repsonders arrived and found the single-vehicle collision with two occupants inside the vehicle injured.
The pair were transported to an area hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
NJ State Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
