Early this morning, emergency responders were called to a violent crash on NJ-29 in Hamilton Township, which resulted in severe injuries to at least one person.
Preliminary reports indicated that the collision occurred between I-195 and I-295 around 1:20 a.m., prompting the closure of two lanes as crews worked at the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders administered CPR to one victim before transporting them to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
As of 4 a.m., the individual's injuries were reported as severe.
Police are investigating the cause of the wreck and searching the surrounding area for additional victims.
The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
