Police have issued an alert to neighboring towns for a carjacking that occurred a short time ago in the city.
According to preliminary reports, the carjacking happened in the 60's block of South 10th Street before 5:15 a.m. where three black male suspect -possibly juveniles- took a burgundy 2016 Ford Fusion with reported NJ license plate numbers "G70-GWK".
The suspects reportedly exited an older model gray minivan with NJ license plates reports said.
The vehicles were last observed fleeing on West Market Street towards The City of East Orange.
There were no physical injuries reports.
