Union Police are investigating a crash that happened on US-22 sending one person to the hospital early this morning.
The crash happened shortly before 3:05 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near Michigan Avenue where emergency responder rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon their arrival, they found a vehicle that crashed into a pole with wires and the pole falling onto the highway.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries while police closed and detoured all lanes for the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
