Trenton fire officials are probing into the cause of a fire that broke out in the early hours of Tuesday morning at a local historic church.
Firefighters were swiftly dispatched to The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Advent, located at 937 South Broad Street, following reports of a fire.
Upon arrival, the fire crews encountered smoke emanating from the church.
Thanks to their prompt action, they successfully extinguished the flames, preventing extensive damage to the historic structure.
To aid in determining the cause of the fire, the Fire Marshall and Arson squad were called to the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The investigation into the fire's origin is ongoing, with authorities working to uncover any potential factors that could have led to the blaze.
