Early Tuesday morning, Elmwood Park Police responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on 91 Broadway.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. when an armed suspect entered the store and demanded cash from the employees.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene.
Shortly after that, Bergen County authorities engaged in a high-speed pursuit that ended with several suspects being pulled from a crashed vehicle on the Garden State Parkway.
Investigators are determining whether these individuals are connected to the robbery at 7-Eleven.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to piece together the events and confirm the identities of those involved in this morning's crime.
