A set of early morning armed robberies that happened in Newark has police on the search for suspects.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery that happened in the 40's block of 4th Street at around 6 a.m. where officers arrived to the scene and located the victim who reported being robbed at gunpoint by three black males who were wearing dark clothing and hoodie sweatshirts.
The suspects reportedly took personal possessions before running from the scene.
A short time later in the 100 block of North 5th Street, suspects fitting the same description committed an armed robbery of personal possessions according to reports.
There were no physical injures reported.
