Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr., and Washington Township Chief of Police Jeffrey Almer announce the implementation of a joint Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint in Washington Township during the month of September 2018.
Law enforcement personnel from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and the Washington Township Police Department will be conducting the checkpoint.
The checkpoint is funded by grants that the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office received from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety to conduct DWI checkpoints at various locations throughout Morris County.
Further checkpoint dates will be announced in the future.
