A fatal crash in Moorestown has police investigating.
Moorestown Police were dispatched to the report of a motor vehicle crash today at the rear of the Home Goods Store, located at 401 W. Rt. 38, at approximately 11:59 am.
Upon arrival, officers a passenger vehicle wedged under a semi-trailer that was parked in the loading dock of the store.
Officials say the vehicle and trailer were heavily involved in the fire on arrival. Moorestown, Lenola, Maple Shade, and Mt. Laurel Fire Departments responded and extinguished the fire.
According to authorities, the male driver of the vehicle was located and pronounced dead at the scene.
Moorestown Police and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
