A driver was transported to the hospital suffering serious injuries after crashing a vehicle on a highway in Hudson County Sunday morning.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the area of Hackensack Avenue and Route 1&9 south to investigate reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, police found a vehicle crashed into a pole with the driver inside the car.
Kearny Firefighters extricated the victim and then turned him over to EMS for medical attention.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
