Driver Crashes into Linden Home, Causes Gas Leak

There were no injuries reported after a car crashed into a Linden home, causing a gas leak Wednesday morning.

According to police, just before 9 a.m. Linden police and fire units responded to the 2000 block of Bedle Place on a report of a serious motor vehicle crash.

Officers arrived and discovered a white Nissan Altima had crashed into the front of the residence.

As a precaution, residents were evacuated until a small gas leak was contained.

There were no injuries reported, and residents were able to return to their home after it was deemed safe by city officials.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
