Mountainside authorities are investigating a crash involving a car overturning early Tuesday morning.
Mountainside authorities said at approximately 9:30 a.m., Mountainside Police responded to the area of Summit Road and Heckel Drive for a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned 2021 Ford Mustang.
Police said the operator, a 39-year-old Springfield, NJ, man was not injured in the crash and refused medical attention.
According to Mountainside Police, a further investigation revealed the driver was intoxicated, resulting in his arrest.
No injuries were reported.
