Police in Long Branch are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that left a man seriously injured early this morning.
A car reportedly pulled up to a man in the 100 block of Westwood Ave. around 6:15a.m, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire leaving the victim with a gunshot wound to the arm that penetrated his chest.
The victim was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center a short time later. where he was listed in serious condition.
Police are looking two white males that fled the scene in a white or silver Sedan in the area of 3rd Ave.
