A stabbing incident that sent two people to the hospital in Jersey City now has police looking into the motive for the event.
It happened at approximately 3 a.m. in the vicinity of 150 Nostrand Avenue where 911 dispatchers received reports of injured and bleeding victims who were possibly stabbed at that location.
Police officers arrived at the scene found both victims suffering stab injuries with one of the patients severely cut according to reports.
EMS rushed the pair to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated their wounds and they remain in stable condition reports said.
The motive for the stabbing has not been determined at this time.
Police officials say the investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.
