Police set up a crime scene in the vicinity of Mulberry and Green streets as they investigated a double stabbing that occurred in the city's downtown early Sunday morning.
According to authorities, they received reports of a stabbing with shots fired in that section of downtown at approximately 3:20 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene found two victims suffering stab injuries, but after police searched the area, there were no immediate reports of shell casings located.
The victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not confirmed the motive for the stabbing and no arrests have been reported.
