Two people were transported to University Hospital after they were stabbed in Newark's South Ward last night.
According to authorities, while police were investigating a shooting crime scene in the area of Avon and Jelliff avenues, a female suffering from an apparent stab wound, approached them shortly after 9 p.m.
Shortly after, a second police found a second victim the lobby of 301 Irvine Turner Boulevard.
The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
