Police reported two injuries in a shooting incident in Trenton Thursday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of shots fired in the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 6:30 p.m.
Police arrived and taped off several blocks after they found multiple shell casings and two victims struck by gunfire at that location.
Police say the pair were transported to an area hospital for treatment while officers canvassed the area for additional evidence.
According to police, officers canvassing the area also found a person stabbed, but their injuries were considered non-life threatening.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
