Hudson County officials are looking into the motive behind a shooting that injured two victims in a Jersey City neighborhood Saturday morning.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the 20's block of Dales Avenue just before 5 a.m. where officers arrived to find a male and a female struck by bullets at that location.
Police say the two of the victims were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated non-life threatening gunshot wounds to their legs. Police say a third person was located suffering an asthma attack but not struck by bullets.
Detectives taped off the area and began an investigation and searched for the suspect but were not able to locate the shooter.
The victims are expected to make a full recovery.
